桃藝論Vol.1
TAOYUAN CONTEMPORARY ART
藝術研究的推動、藝術品徵集、蒐藏、保存與維護為桃園市立美術館重要使命，典藏品的活化運用、公共性的實踐、地方藝術脈絡的爬梳建構，同為本館的核心價值之一。透過桃園當代藝術板塊研究及現有典藏資源的梳理，期能促進從桃園出發的藝術史研究與藝術知識建構，拓展在地藝術詮釋的開放視野。
Promoting art research, collecting, preserving, and maintaining artworks are essential missions of the Taoyuan Museum of Fine Arts. Revitalizing and utilizing the collection, practicing public accessibility, and constructing the context of local art are also core values of the museum. Through research on the Taoyuan contemporary art sector and organizing existing collections, the museum aims to foster art history research and knowledge construction starting from Taoyuan, broadening the perspective on local art interpretation.
